Tidy Up Tutorials
Here are a few tutorials on how to use Tidy Up.
To search for duplicates in iTunes:
1- Click on the iTunes Music Smart Search. The iTunes library will be automatically checked in the Sources.

3a- If your songs' tags are well-defined, check the MP3 and AAC songs option in the similar section.

3b- If your songs' tags are not well-defined, check the content only option.

4- You can limit the search to a few playlists by clicking on the Edit button.

5- Click on the search button.
The result will appear in a new window.
To activate the box system, click on the fourth rightmost icon at the bottom of the window (squared in red below).
If you don't care in which playlists the songs reside:
6a- Click on the "All but one item of each duplicate group" box.
7a- Click on the Trash button and select content of selected box.

8a- In the Trash options window, select All Items.
9a- Click on Continue to trash the items.

If you want to keep the better quality songs:
6b- Create a new Smart box from the second leftmost button at the bottom of the window.

7b- In the For Each Duplicate Group section select "bit rate is highest".
8b- Click on Create to create the Smart box.

9b- Click on the smart box created and select all the items by pressing command + A
10b- Mark them by pressing command + X
11b- Click on the "All items found" box.
12b- Click on the Trash button and select content of selected box.
13b- In the Trash options window, select Unchecked items.
14b- Click on Continue to trash the items.

1- Click on the Photos Images Smart Search. The Photos library will be automatically checked in the Sources.
2- Check the Content only option.
3- You can limit the search to a few events or albums by clicking on the Edit button.
4- Click on the Search button.

5- Choose fastest in the Prompt window.

The result will appear in a new window.
To activate the box system, click on the fourth rightmost icon at the bottom of the window (squared in red below).
If you don't care in which album or event the photos reside:
6a- Click on the "All but one item of each duplicate group" box.
7a- Click on the Trash button and select content of selected box.

9b- Now you can select the desired albums.
10b- Click on Create to create the Smart box.

Tidy Up allows you to find your duplicate emails in just a few steps.
1- Click on the "Other files and Packages" Smart Search.
2- Check the Mail messages option. The Mail mailbox will be automatically checked in the Sources.
3- Click on the Search button.
